PBIS Behavior Reflection Sheet - Respect w video link PBIS Guidance Counseling

Respectful behavior is so important to the success of students. When they are respectful, they follow rules, comply with requests, and treat others in the way that everyone wants to be treated.

This worksheet/think sheet has been created to be used with students grades 1-4. It utilizes a video that models both disrespectful and respectful behaviors as portrayed by teachers in a role play. The think sheet encourages students to identify disrespectful behaviors and note replacement behaviors that should be substituted. Video links for a variety of other videos are also included.

It can be used with students individually or in small group situations.

We have used this with our tier 3 students in PBIS / MTSS / RTI behavioral spectrum. First, they watch the movie of disrespectful role-play, ID behaviors that should be different, and then watch the same role-play with respectful behaviors. At the bottom of the sheet, there is a place for the student to write about the behaviors that s/he needs to change and plan how to make those changes. This is a great vehicle for adult interaction with students to help guide them to think about alternate behavioral choices.

These Behavior Reflection Sheets are used with PBIS in my school. When students are making poor choices, it is helpful for them to write about those poor choices that are preventing them from enjoying the rewards that go with the better choices that they need to be making. This makes it easy to open a conversation with students about choices that are being made.

Use this with your positive behavior intervention supports for your level two or level three students. This is completely reproducible to utilize over and over again.
