What educators are saying

I used this to help me introduce my 7th graders to owls and owl pellets. It was super helpful and engaging!

Description

This presentation (with 'fill in blank' style notes included) describes in detail the barn owl's characteristics and habitat. The process of making an owl pellet and types of prey are also included. Detailed dissection method, safety guidelines and numerous images are provided to spark your student's interest and get them excited about discovering what is inside an owl pellet! In my classroom, I showed my students this power point presentation (to introduce them to the barn owl - most of them did not know what it was or what it eats), then we started the actual dissection. They loved it!
