An Outdoor Education Unit focusing on the ethics of Leave No Trace (LNT). This is a comprehensive introduction to the 7 principles of LNT and form the 'cornerstone' of hiking and camping etiquette. Each principle is broken down into specifics that are clear, easily understood and how these principles impact on the 'outdoors'.
This is a stand alone unit of work designed around a Year 9 Outdoor Education program, but can be adapted to suit Years 7 - 10. The duration of the unit is aimed at 2 - 3 weeks depending on resources and time available. The unit is also flexible to meet student, school and teacher needs accordingly.
This unit is offered under the TpT Digital Activities to assist colleagues who are working from home developing Distance Learning activities.
