Description

Latin story to translate about Orpheus going to the Underworld to get his wife Eurydice. Contains present tense participles - I use this in my Latin II curriculum to start the participles unit (it's followed by the Sisyphus story for Past/Future participles and I do a mini-unit about the Underworld). My Latin II students take usually only take 1 42-minute class period to translate this. Some vocabulary glossed in between the paragraphs.
