Order of Operations Activity: You will download an order of operations worksheet packet for your 5th grade and 6th grade math students to practice and review the order of operations with no exponents. The skills build from addition and subtraction with and without parenthesis up to multiplication and division with and without parenthesis. At the end, there are challenge worksheets for your students to complete the order of operations equations by filling in the missing numbers.

This order of operations worksheet packet will work well for your early finishers, morning work, review homework, station or center activities, formative assessments, independent work packet, emergency sub plans, and as extra practice for your ESL and special education students.
Some knowledge of negative numbers is necessary on a few problems. Worksheets are also scaffolded for easy differentiation. Please see the preview for the table of contents.

Evaluate expressions at specific values of their variables. Include expressions that arise from formulas used in real-world problems. Perform arithmetic operations, including those involving whole-number exponents, in the conventional order when there are no parentheses to specify a particular order (Order of Operations). For example, use the formulas V = s³ and A = 6 s² to find the volume and surface area of a cube with sides of length s = 1/2.
