Description
This set of notes includes 11 examples of simplifying expressions using the order of operations. The examples have been thoughtfully chosen to generate discussions about misconceptions and common mistakes, and the notes themselves have been designed to fit perfectly in an interactive notebook. This set of notes is the perfect review for students who have already learned the order of operations before but still need more practice and experience. It would be perfect for Algebra 1 or Algebra 2 level students. I use this as a review prior to teaching how to evaluate algebraic expressions.
