Description

Color by number lessons can be a fun change of pace for students and may be used for practice, as a review, as a math center, or as an assignment choice for differentiation of lessons.

Note: Using a digital color by number activity works best with iPads where coloring can be done using an app such as Notability.

Notice: All calculations in this puzzle involve positive numbers. If you are interested in order of operations problems with negatives, please check my store for an activity very similar to this one!

You may want to check out the Order of Operations Bundle which includes this activity.

Evaluate expressions at specific values of their variables. Include expressions that arise from formulas used in real-world problems. Perform arithmetic operations, including those involving whole-number exponents, in the conventional order when there are no parentheses to specify a particular order (Order of Operations). For example, use the formulas V = s³ and A = 6 s² to find the volume and surface area of a cube with sides of length s = 1/2.
