You may use the printable order of operations activity task cards in your 5th or 6th grade math review centers or stations for fun games and activities, such as a scavenger hunt or math SCOOT. These order of operations activity task cards also work well for transition activities, as exit tickets, for morning work, homework, bell work, early finishers, test prep, emergency sub plans, and as quick formative assessments. Game ideas, a student response form, and answer key are included.

There are 2 larger cards per page, so I recommend laminating them to reuse year after year.

Evaluate expressions at specific values of their variables. Include expressions that arise from formulas used in real-world problems. Perform arithmetic operations, including those involving whole-number exponents, in the conventional order when there are no parentheses to specify a particular order (Order of Operations). For example, use the formulas V = s³ and A = 6 s² to find the volume and surface area of a cube with sides of length s = 1/2.
