Opportunities for the New Year: Close Reading and Writing Assignment

Join in with your students in exploring new opportunities that they have for the new year! This is a bit of a twist on New Resolutions! Using the song, "Opportunity" from the Annie Soundtrack students will use their Close Reading strategies to explore this wonderful, encouraging, you can do anything song! After finishing up the Close Reading activity students will then brainstorm about their opportunities in this new year. Students will write about them and steps they will take to meet them! This product has different writing blocks as well as different organization pages to help support where all of our students are in their writing!
