What educators are saying

My students loved getting out their "Chapter trackers" each day when I grabbed the OPE book. The thoughtful discussions that this resource sparked helped support my 3rd grade class tremendously with our SEL learning as well as our reading skills. Thank you so much!

Description

Operation Frog Effect by Sarah Scheerger NO PREP Novel Study

This novel study includes everything you need to read the book Operation Frog Effect with your class!

What's Included:

-Student Packet Cover

-Character Profiles to help with keeping track of the personalities/interests of each character

-Chapter Questions (the chapters are short…one to four questions per chapter and there is room for students to write answers). To go with the spirit of self-expression through writing in the book, certain questions allow students to respond using words and pictures or in graphic novel format

OFE is an incredible book and I cannot recommend it enough, especially for a beginning of the year read. Operation Frog Effect is one of those rare books that is both a window and a mirror. It is told from 8 unique perspectives, which gives every student somebody to relate to in some way. It also allows them to see various situations through different sets of eyes. This book has produced such rich conversation and responses from every single one of my students. OFE has provided our class community with a beautiful opportunity to discuss “big feelings” we have and “big events” in the world around us.
