Opera Music Virtual Field Trip | Opera Around the World Music Culture Activity

Looking for an opera music activity? Take your students on a virtual field trip to the opera, and learn about opera around the world! This activity is a great way to expose your students to famous operas, productions, and singers.

This Google Slides based resource features two digital choice boards with links to amazing videos, virtual tours, and online student-friendly sites. You can assign all of the blocks or allow students to choose what interests them. After students are finished exploring they can share what they learned using the two student response slides and/or work on the web scavenger hunt questions (answer key included).

Digital choice boards contain internet links so your students will go directly to the site without having to type in the internet web address. It's extremely engaging, educational, and fun! Take it one step further and have your students create a slide or report based on their trip(s).

No-prep or prior experience is necessary! This activity is student-friendly and super easy to use! Internet access needed. This resource can be used on classroom Chromebooks or other devices, in computer labs, or when projecting to the whole class.
