Description

Teach kindness with this online SEL activity and interactive friendship lesson. A printable or digital activity with 5 kindness challenges perfect for Random Acts of Kindness Week for 4th, 5th & 6th grade.

This bucket filler activity can be used on devices, or you can print the worksheets if you'd like a paper lesson.

With each act of kindness students complete, they type into fields or write about what they did, how the recipient reacted, and how it made them feel. When they click the home button to go to the next task, a heart becomes colored on the bucket slide on the digital activity, or they receive a colored heart from their teacher to adhere to their printed worksheet.

Acts of Kindness Include:

No. 1 - Compliment someone you don’t usually hang out with.

No. 2 - Make a thank you card for someone who makes a difference in your life.

No. 3 - Run an errand or help with something without being asked.

No. 4 - Say hello to three people and use your manners all day.

No. 5 - Write about an act of kindness you received or will do.

During the activity, students practice reading, writing, spelling, and typing. They develop social-emotional skills as they are required to consider the feelings and emotions they experience as they type or write about the excitement of each act of kindness.

This is a great way to build positive character traits as you nurture consideration and friendship to encourage good behavior and reduce bullying.
