This is a painting lesson that teaches 3 ways to create beautiful abstract paintings in a limited color scheme.

  • Students will be taught how to create a focal point and visual path of movement in abstract artwork.
  • Clear instructions with a diagram explain how to assist students to mix a lovely color scheme with tint, shades, and tones in just one palette.
  • Other Design Principles this lesson teaches are repetition, rhythm, variety, contrast, and color mixing.
  • Photographs can be used as subject matter or students can use their I Pads, phone cameras, or digital cameras to take their own original photographs to use for their abstract paintings!
  • 3 options for teaching Abstract Art to students are presented in this product that ranges from an easier, traditional approach to a more complex approach integrating the optional use of IPads and the“Notability” App.
