Description

Your students will love learning about farm animals with this resource.

This unit has been tested and used many times with ESL, EFL, ELL, and ELA learners. It can also be used as part of informational writing activities.

In this resource you will find:

1.My Farm Animals Book- a kid-friendly book about farm animals (horse, pig, hen, cow, goat, sheep, goose, duck, dog, cat).

2. Farm Animals Informational Writing- students can write about their favorite farm animals after researching about them or you having shared information with them.

3.The game I have…/ Who has…?- This is a great game to review farm animal words and their babies. Two versions of the games are provided- one with pictures and words and one only with words.

Print, laminate, and you can reuse it many times.

4. Farm animals and babies matching cards or posters.

5. Match the farm animals to their babies worksheet -2 versions.

6. Circle the odd farm animal out.

7. Write sentences about the farm animals using the adjectives given.

8. The Barn- Sequence of events- practice sequence of events by writing sentences about the animals that came to the barn.

9. Label the body parts for the farm animals given.

10. Circle the beginning sound for each farm animal in the picture.

11. Read and color the animal pictures.

12. Farm animals and babies plural and singular forms puzzle pieces.

13. Fill in the right singular or plural form of the farm animal word worksheet.

14.Farm animals puzzle pieces- print, laminate, and cut. Reuse over and over.

15. Look and write the farm animal word correctly.
