Description

After few months, and as we'd started posting parts of book-Thesis on Task of Holy Grace of Saint John Christomus, on another site-we'd posted a few parts of this same book till April-now having got back to this site with posts further-I attach file, of part 70, there is still enough to say.

Field is Theology, indeed Christian Theology: Saint John had been one of the three Fathers of first centuries of Christian Church and spread of Christianity.

The book was originally written by Professor of Univ. of Theology, the task here is transcreation..

Here below is also plain text of this part:

ON HOLY GRACE OF SAINT JOHN CHRISOSTOMUS

University of Athens 1956

Written from Professor Mr Stojan Gosevic (1920-1991)

University of Belgrade

And the book continues: The main problem with Holy Grace, as it’s treated from Saint John Chrisostomus, as one of Orthodox Church Fathers is whether man is able and to what extent man will be able to accept holy grace as an internal radical change, that only Jesus can realize to man, being the main Subject of Grace. Then the problem set here is human freedom and free will and the possible ‘conflict’ that consists in internal conflict representing human freedom and holy grace. And Chrisostomus, by referring to Apostle Paul:’’ Holy Grace can be obtained and act on man only through faith, and by overcoming its difficulties, so hat man obtains it totally then man is absolutely ready to accept holy grace. And by distinguishing common faith from the one leading to miracles, that makes our knowledge kind of piousness, and makes us feel and be pious first, he notes that even for this (common) kind of faith we need help of Saint Spirit, as holy grace is only a matter of God, and its Thank to Him, He Only can give and gift it to us. (It continues)
