Old McDonald's CRAZY Farm! Mix and Match Song with Real Animal Sounds
- PPTX
What educators are saying
Description
It's so fun to ask, "What other animals could be on Old McDonald's farm?" I've included 30 different barnyard, zoo, and ocean animals in this powerpoint so that you can mix and match what YOU want! In this file I've also included a set of "What's that Sound" slides to help kids hear sounds of real animals. So many students don't really know what the animals they love sound like! Using the PowerPoint also frees me up to assess students one by one while we sing (they’re so busy watching the screen I have a little more freedom).
I love teaching this fun song to my young kiddos (Kinder, 1st, and 2nd especially) because it really cements in the Sol-Do jump, connects to content about animals that they love, has a memorable catchline, and gives me the opportunity for variation with many different animals!
This product includes:
*Old McDonald lyrics slides for 30 animals from basic barnyard (cow, sheep, hen) to zoo animals (giraffe, kangaroo, rhino, elephant) to critters from the deep blue sea (shark, starfish, octopus). Mix and match to make your favorite version of the song!
*A "what does this animal really say" slide for each little critter. Click on the big red icon to hear the real animal sound.
*Slides can be rearranged and activities moved around or taken out to fit your needs.
