Description
The Obstacle Course Robot is a problem based learning activity created to be used with the LEGO SPIKE Prime kit. The Mindstorms Robot Inventor can be substituted for the SPIKE Prime.
This activity will take students through a series of lessons to help program a drivebase through an obstacle course.
The obstace course will walk students through programming:
- a motor pair to move forward and turn.
- a color sensor to sense colors in order to follow a line and stop.
- a distance sensor to see walls to navigate a maze.
While students are working through this PBL they will be strengthening their problem solving and computational thinking skills.
