Description
I don’t know about you, but my students LOVE playing Uno! These versions of “OO-NO” follows the traditional rules of the game (detailed directions included), but uses notes and words in treble and bass clef as well as music symbols in lieu of numbers. This is a perfect game to play to support and reinforce reading notes and becoming familiar with important musical symbols and terminology. Elementary music students will delight in playing this game–learning without even realizing!
Check out the detailed description of each version to learn what is included!
This game can easily be used for:
- Full class instruction then small group work
- Centers (an excellent and quiet rotation)
- Home practice (have them take home their own deck of cards to play with their families)
- Sub tub–PERFECT for inexperienced and non-musical substitutes
- Observation: have someone coming in to see how things are going in your class? Your students will be so engaged: your supervisor will be floored!)
