This is a Multiple Choice Guided Listening Worksheet that is to be completed as students watch a performance of The Nutcracker.
It asks a series of questions about the instrumentation, dynamics and plot. Students would have to know music vocabulary involving dynamics, tempo, instruments, and expressive markings for this to be used.
I wrote this one specifically to go along with the Balanchine production that was filmed in 1993. (It is really well narrated!)
