Description

Want to make your Morning Meeting FUN? Give your class some daily review that they WANT to do! HeidiSongs' Number of the Day/Week focus wall is an active way to review the number concepts from zero to thirty.  When teaching kids basic concepts such as numbers, telling them once is just not enough!
Daily review and practice are the keys, and what you do daily tends to STICK. That's what makes reviewing with a focus wall so effective, and kids LOVE it!

Our HeidiSongs' Number of the Week focus wall provides multiple ways to present the numbers, such as ten frames, tally marks, and dominoes.  This is perfect for Pre-K, Transitional Kindergarten (TK), Kindergarten, First Grade, or a home school setting.  It also provides a rhyme for how to write the numbers, with a whole-body way of acting out how to draw it!  In addition to that, we provide our Counting Creatures rhyme for kids to get up, clap, and jump the correct number of times for each number.

See the video preview to view an ACTIVE way to review daily!

1. Ten Frames: Jump once for each dot!

2. Dominoes: Stomp once for each dot!

3. Tally Marks: Draw the tallies in the air.

4. Counting Skills: Tell the numbers that come before and after.

5. Number Writing Rhyme: Chant or sing!

6. Counting Creature: Recite the rhyme, then count and jump that many times!

Those who are interested in using the rhymes in their musical form may wish to check out our video or audio versions of those songs!

Don't want to print? Click here for our Google Slides version! Also available bundled! The mp3 audio files for the songs (not the video) is also included in this product.

Want your kids to write the numbers, too? We've added three Number of the Day Template pages for students to write the numbers, ten frames, tally marks, and dominoes for the number they are working on! There are three templates: Numbers up to 10, Numbers up to 20, and Numbers up to 30.

This 104 page Number of the Week flashcard set includes the following for numbers 0-30:

  • Numeral cards
  • Number word cards
  • Dominoes cards
  • Tally Marks cards
  • Counting Creature Rhyme cards in both Color and Black & White (only up to 20)
  • Number Writing Rhyme cards

We've also included headers in color and black & white for 'Number of the Week' and 'Number of the Day', and BW only for 'Today's Number'. There are also subject cards in color and black & white for the Number Words, Tally Marks, Dominoes, Ten Frames, Counting Creatures, Writing Rhymes, Counting Skills, and Numerals.
