This Spanish number recognition activity is a great way to integrate math, language arts and music! Students will love learning the numbers 1-10 with this song and booklet.
This product features a student reader that features two pages for each round of the song. There is a picture page that features a picture of the spider web with the quantity of elephants, and also a lyric page in which students fill in the number of elephants that are on the web.
This product can be used in many ways as a guided reading lesson, number identification review, or both! In counting the elephants on each page and writing in the numerals, students are practicing 1:1 counting and quantity-numeral correspondence. Students can also use the lyrics to search for letters, syllables, or words that they are studying. They love to use different colors to highlight the words they can identify within the song! Students can even count or graph how many of each letter/syllable/word they find in the text.
