WHAT DOES THE FULL RESOURCE INCLUDE?

The full resource chapter book novel study includes worksheets that will help your students become readers who reflect on what they read. This resource is perfect for at-home reading or in-class reading because it is both printable and digital. This resource allows students to comprehend what they are reading as they work through important reading standards.

Each page is standards-based. This is a no-prep resource and you can print worksheets or assign the digital reading response journal. This Digital Novel Study Journal has writing prompts as well as graphic organizers to help support you with Distance Learning.

Practice pages are able to be used to introduce the standard during whole group. You can reteach using these printable worksheets as well and students can show what they know by turning in an exit ticket after your lesson. Journal pages are included so students can practice independently or with a partner!

Interested in hosting literature circles? I've included literature circle worksheets, reading role sheets, and directions so your next literature circle will run smoothly!

Interested in having students present a project after a class novel? I've included summative reading projects that your students will LOVE! (I know my students did!)

Do your students love to act? I've included a drama prompt to get their creativity flowing and the class will enjoy this entertaining activity that can be used with any chapter book.

Need to get your students to make connections during reading? Your students will benefit from the literature signpost activity included in this resource which will promote reflective reading. Also, my writing prompts can be used with any novel and deep connections will be made when they venture back into the text during their independent writing.
