Novel Study: The Poet X by: Elizabeth Acevedo Book Summary Guidelines

Students will read The Poet X by Elizabeth Acevedo. As students read the book, they will explore various themes, character dynamics, narrative techniques, and the broader societal and cultural implications presented in The Poet X. Students will use the following guiding questions to write a summative essay outlining the bolded listed items above. This also includes the book summary requirements in detail (i.e. formatting, title page, citation, analysis, etc.), plagarism statement and Criteria for Evaluating a Book Summary for teachers.
