    Description

    Here is a novel study growing bundle of popular novels for upper elementary students. Bundled together for a savings of $21. This is a GROWING bundle, so when I add a new novel study unit you will have access to my newest novel study for free!

    This is an upper elementary novel study bundle which includes 11 different novel studies. These novel studies are perfect for whole group, small group, literature circles, book clubs, or individual study. It would also be a great tool to keep a student reading and writing all summer!

    ALL NOVEL STUDIES INCLUDE:

    A RUBRIC for student expectations and easy grading


    Comprehension skills that are covered in the novel studies are:

    · predicting

    · connections

    · questioning

    · character traits

    · opinion writing

    · theme/central message

    · summarizing

    · sequencing

    · cause and effect

    Also includes:

    1. Answer keys are provided for each novel study.

    2. Posters are included in each novel study. These posters are quotes from each book that are pertinent to the story.

    3. Higher order questions throughout each novel study.

    DIFFERENTIATED VOCABULARY STUDY:

    You can decide the level of difficulty that the students will do in their packets. Here are the choices:

    1. The student can simply have a copy of the vocabulary and definitions to refer to as they read.

    2. The student can copy the vocabulary word and match it to its definition.

    3. The student can copy the definition and match it to the vocabulary word.

    4. The student can copy the vocabulary word and the definition.
