Description
This digital resource is an editable rubric (Google Docs) that can be used to assess student notes when conducting research in all subject areas. Students will learn how to re-write information in their own words to create notes that are accurate, complete, and relevant to their research question. The rubric contains four categories: paraphrasing, purpose, completion, and accuracy.
The best way for students to become familiar with a rubric is to have them use it to assess someone else’s work, so this resource comes with:
- Note-taking rubric
- Note-taking chart
- One page fact sheet about rabbit anatomy
- Three student work samples (written about rabbit anatomy) for students to assess
