Description

This 32-page booklet of North Carolina symbols is the perfect resource to add to any NC social studies curriculum! This product allows students to research and create their own booklet of North Carolina symbols. My students always LOVE this project and find it so interesting. *Also makes a great keepsake!

A 5-page test which is aligned to the booklet is also included.

Students will use the following websites to research 32 of North Carolina’s State Symbols:

•36-page student symbols booklet, and a 5-page test to accompany the study of North Carolina Symbols.

•Directions for printing & copying the booklet (if done correctly, all symbols will be in alphabetical order)

•Directions on how to find information for the booklet

•2 pages for students to choose their own symbol are included.

•5-page test with 32 questions about each symbol (word bank included)

**Answer keys are included!

Each booklet page includes a picture of the symbol to color, and a “Fun Facts” section for students to complete during their research.
