Nonfiction Conferencing Writing Labels

These labels can be used during writing conferences with your students. Simply peel and stick the label to a student's piece of writing to remind them what strategy to use in their writing. Each label includes a visual which is perfect for your youngest writers.

Strategies include: pictures and labels, capital letters, stretching out the sounds you hear in words, adding details with twin sentences, use comparison sentences, use expert words, end with a thought, begin your book by introducing the topic, and ending punctuation.
