Description

We want young children to practice reading complex text passages with a variety of word patterns and high frequency words. It is difficult to find reading passages that have a mix of word patterns and are interesting for children to read. These 10 nonfiction reading passages are approximately 75-100 words each, have a variety of words, and are interesting. My first grade grandson helped me choose the topics! There is a space on each for the student to illustrate. This is perfect for first, second, third grade readers.
