NEW UPDATED LOOK--SAME GREAT PRODUCT!

This download includes eight sets of non-fiction paired passages for comparing and contrasting. Passages are rigorous and high interest, providing for great practice of comparing and contrasting two texts. Each pair of passages is about related topics and each includes a grade equivalent reading level to allow for scaffolding or differentiation. The grade equivalent has been determined using an estimated Lexile level. Graphic organizers are included for each set of paired passages, though teachers may use their own organizers as well. These practice passages are appropriate for 4th, 5th, 6th, and 7th grade students and are aligned to common core standards for comparing and contrasting texts. Passages included are:
