    Description

This is a bundle of Digital, NO PREP reading intervention Boom Cards™ for Boom Learning™ to help students decode and blend cvc words, digraphs, blends, long vowel cvc-e "sneaky e" words (silent e), r-controlled vowels, vowel teams, diphthongs, and words with other long vowels. If you love my No Prep Reading Intervention Binder for Beginning Readers and my No Prep Reading Intervention Binder 2nd Edition (long vowels and more), you will LOVE these digital task cards! It is aligned to the science of reading by providing explicit, focused, and systematic phonics practice for your developing readers!

The following Boom Card decks are included in this bundle:

Your will love practicing their decoding and word fluency skills, and you will love the simplicity, direct instruction and practice, and student engagement! These task cards are self-checking through the Boom Learning™️ platform. These task cards can be used and played on any device that has access to the Internet, such as a tablet, mobile device, laptop, or computer!

How do you play and use these digital task cards?

Students will touch the dots and say each sound within the word. Blend the sounds together and read the word. Then, click on the picture that matches the word. The two pictures that students have to choose from on each card have been strategically chosen to help students really concentrate on the sounds they see and hear as they are reading the word. For example, when sounding out the word d-o-g in the CVC pack, a picture of a dog and dig are displayed. This teaches students to really pay attention to the medial sound and the vowel as they read the word "dog." These decks are perfect for reading intervention!

Who is this resource designed for?

These digital packs were designed for readers in kindergarten and first-grade all the way through second and third grade- depending upon the phonics skills students need practice in. Readers should be instructed on their individual reading level- so putting a "grade level" to this resource is tricky, since a kindergartner may be ready for long vowels, and a struggling third grade may need more strategic help with phonics skills such as vowel teams and diphthongs. Therefore, it's important to focus on the SKILLS your students need to be reinforced and taught. This bundle is also ideal for special education, literacy coaches, reading specialists, and even speech and language pathologists!

Can I try it before I buy it?
