Description
Presidents are essential leaders in the American nation. This 85-page packet contains no prep informational passages meant to teach students about the first five presidents of the United States.
This packet includes the following:
Reading Passages: With information about each president, from birth to death, each passage is chalked full of background information to support your historical learning. Additionally, fun facts at the end of each passage help you learn more about each former president.
Lined writing paper options for displaying what your students have learned about each president. I have included a lined paper with each president's name at the top, and the last page of each president is lined paper with their portrait in the back for writing and displaying.
Words to Know Vocabulary:
Students can familiarize themselves with ten words for each scientist related to their lives as scientists, write definitions, and draw an illustration.
Reading Assessment:
A 10-question assessment with vocabulary, comprehension, and two short answer responses is included.
Answer keys are included for the vocabulary and assessments.
A digital link is also included in Google Drive or Google Classroom (perfect for students who may be absent or have students write digitally).
