Description

This lessons teaches students that they need consent before any physical encounter; hugging, shaking hands, fist bumping, or any kind of touch that is inappropriate to an other student. It teaches that no means no and you still need a yes! Two activities and a writing prompt. clip art, printables, no prep needed. Assessment and answer key- Also available on Easel.

CDC HEALTH STANDARD FOUR: Students will demonstrate the ability to use interpersonal communication skills to enhance health and avoid or reduce health risks

Learning outcomes:

Students will understand the Explanation of changing hormones

Students will recognize that No means no and you still need a yes

Students will understand the importance of You always need consent for any encounter

Students will be able to Explain different circumstances under which you need consent

Students will be able to comprehend that respecting personal space and comfort zones is important

Students will be able to define what is considered a "Touch without consent?"
