Looking for a New Year's Resolution themed reader's theater script or class play?
We have a passion for bringing theater to the classroom - and wanted to created a fun, short, and sweet reader's theater story to go along with New Years.
This original story surround Mrs. Macy's class. They're learning about what it means to make a New Year's Resolution. They then begin to think up their own personal resolutions - and then they write them on a paper bell and post them to a class poster.
As a bonus - at the end of this reader's theater activity, you are provided with a bell cut out so that your students can also participate in the activity that Mrs. Macy's class was doing in the story!
This reader's theater script is six pages long with with 12 reading roles. This script was tested with fourth graders, however it would work well with 3rd-5th.
