New Year's Chant, January, Practice Syncopa - Rhythmic Arrangement

"January" is an original chant and rhythmic composition, written to help students practice “syncopa” rhythms in the new year. Included are 2 sets of slides. You can either use my suggestions for instruments or you and your students can make up your own arrangement. It is great practice for reading, speaking, and playing rhythms containing “syncopa.” It can also be taught by rote to younger students and add instruments to the text.
