What educators are saying

My students enjoyed putting the real photos into two columns: Needs and Wants and discussing each item.
I loved having real photographs to help kids sort needs and wants. There was a lot of variety of pictures.

Description

Students will sort photos by Needs and Wants into categories. Vocabulary words are written on each flash card. A lesson plan is included. I love to complete the large photo Needs vs. Wants flash card photo sort as a whole group, then have students complete independent Needs vs. Wants sort worksheet in a center. After sorting, students can complete the writing extension pages. Both primary and lined pages are included to differentiate for different levels.

Included in this resource:

- Lesson Plan

- Needs and Wants Posters (8.5" by 11")

- 31 Photos (4"x6" each)

- Needs vs. Wants Sort Worksheet with Answer Key

- 5 Primary Lined Writing Extension Pages

- 5 Lined Writing Extension Pages

***Laminate photos to use again and again!
