Navidad en Guatemala: Christmas in Guatemala

This presentation covers all the different aspects of how Christmas is celebrated in Guatemala, but it also is a springboard to elicit language from your students and help them make cultural connections. With beautiful pictures, questions, and age appropriate videos that cover many of the traditions, students get to experience Navidad in this country. It has simple text in Spanish, more detailed explanations in English in pull out tabs, as well as a page to compare traditions in the States and Guatemala. It has a printable group task related to a video, to practice "Me gusta... porque". It is aligned to the new FL standards, at the novice high level.
