This duo contains the movie guides for National Treasure and National Treasure: Book of Secrets. National Treasure is an action-packed film that follows historian, Benjamin Franklin Gates, and his friends on a mission to save the Declaration of Independence and find the treasure before a group of mercenaries discover it. Their adventures takes them through Washington D.C., Philadelphia, and New York. This would be a fun film to use in a Social Studies course after studying the Declaration of Independence. It could also be used for a Fun Day film, last minute lesson, sub plans, or End of the Year film. The film stars Nicholas Cage, Diane Kruger, Justin Bartha, Sean Bean, Jon Voight, Christopher Plummer, and Harvey Keitel.

My movie guide contains 50 questions and an answer key has been provided for your convenience. The film's runtime is 131 minutes in length and is rated PG for action violence and some scary images.

NATIONAL TREASURE: BOOK OF SECRETS

National Treasure II: Book of Secrets is back with historian, Benjamin Franklin Gates, and his friends.This time he must follow the clues left behind in John Wilkes Booth’s diary and prove that one of his ancestors did not take part in the assassination President Abraham Lincoln. This would be a fun film to use in a Social Studies course after watching the first film or a unit on the Presidents. It could also be used for a Fun Day film, last minute lesson, sub plans, or End of the Year film. The film stars Nicholas Cage, Diane Kruger, Justin Bartha, Ed Harris, Jon Voight, Helen Mirren, and Harvey Keitel.

My movie guide contains 50 questions and an answer key has been provided for your convenience. The film's runtime is 124 minutes in length and is rated PG for some violence and action. Their final question will be a fun one to discuss. Students will have to imagine what is on page 47 and write the plot for the next film. This will be a fun way to wrap up the film and allow the students to be creative.
