Description
This is a Common Core-based rubric for sixth grade narrative writing. The rubric contains criteria for grades regarding Writing Process, Effectiveness, and Conventions. Grades are given on a 0-4 scale, 4 being the best. Each criteria is aligned to a sixth grade Common Core "I can..." statement.
This particular rubric is designed for fantasy stories, but could be easily manipulated to align with personal narratives, fiction, and other narrative writing. The rubric could also be altered in order to be used for other grades.
