Narrative Newspaper

This writing activity is a great back to school activity or even a culminating writing assessment for a unit for using media. Students are asked to create a Newspaper featuring two articles a narrative and an editorial, an advertisement,a nameplate, a masthead, and dateline. I suggest using Microsoft Publisher to complete this activity. Challenge you stuents to use technology and integrate media words into your lessons. This SMART Notebook lesson includes 10 pages with some student interactive pages and a grading rubric.
