Narrative Essay with Rubric

The narrative essay is often forgotten and ignored as students venture into high school. Instead they sometimes are force fed persuasive essays and expository essays until they are blue in the face! The narrative form of writing, however, has layers of creative and purpose students can use as they advance through high school and into adulthood. In this introductory presentation, students will learn the basics of the narrative form of writing and receive tips on how to construct a successful narrative. Also included in this presentation is a detailed rubric for the use of both the student and teacher. Available in Google Slides (link provided) or PowerPoint.
