Description

Kindergarten NWEA Helper This is the Kindergarten version.
It’s ready!!!!!!……I have been working feverishly this summer to complete one of the BEST NWEA help guides.
Our school recently changed to the NWEA testing for assessment of our students and I realized there just wasn’t much out there to help us know what areas this test would have emphasis on. This NWEA HELPER will have ALL of the Kindergarten NWEA RIT math scores broken down into manageable areas that will have you "in the know" for what areas to emphasize.
You can direct your students in the correct skills areas to best help them increase their RIT scores. This helper will be so precise, you will be clued in to the exact vocabulary that will be used to give your students an added advantage.

Be sure to look for the Literacy Helper coming in the near future, as well as first grade helpers!

Help your students rock this year's NWEA test by enhancing the necessary vocabulary and skills.

Standards

to see state-specific standards (only available in the US).
Count to 100 by ones and by tens.
Count forward beginning from a given number within the known sequence (instead of having to begin at 1).
Write numbers from 0 to 20. Represent a number of objects with a written numeral 0-20 (with 0 representing a count of no objects).
When counting objects, say the number names in the standard order, pairing each object with one and only one number name and each number name with one and only one object.
Understand that the last number name said tells the number of objects counted. The number of objects is the same regardless of their arrangement or the order in which they were counted.
