NO PREP Pain Communication Tool (Request Board) Low Tech AAC Visual

When a person with autism is sick or in pain, they may find it very difficult to identify or express the way they are feeling.

Within this packet is a "I Feel Pain or Sick" chart and a request board. The chart has major body areas identified, also highlighting some sicknesses.

The request board has a listing of possible requests such as: medicine, ambulance, help, bandage, and water.

A "Pain Scale" ranging from 1 - 5 in various shades identifying the severity of pain is also included. The images also depict how the person feels, from happy to being hurt.
