27 pages of mixed letter beginning sound sort cut and paste sheets! Each page has 3 anchor letters, and 12 picture tiles that students will cut and paste and sort by initial phoneme/beginning letter sound. The combinations of letters follow 3 different letter introduction sequences: alphabetical order, IMSE Orton Gillingham sequence, and the Montessori letter introduction sequence.
This resource is perfect for checking for understanding, phonics/literacy centers, simple sub plans, and whole group explicit phonics instruction. All images are real photographs, not clipart, and short vowel sounds were used for a, e, i, o, and u. The letter x is represented as an end sound.
