Description

Help students reflect and set goals with this no-prep, easy-to-use New Year New Me Mask Art SEL Project! This activity allows students to reflect on things and character traits they'd like to change from their past as well as goals they'd like to accomplish in their future. Sheets are included for students to create the mask about themselves OR a character from a story or novel. They will then create a mask that represents their past and future self (or character)! They can either color a paper mask OR create a paper mâché version. This helps turn these abstract concepts into an activity that is high-interest, easy to understand, and memorable!
