NAC1O Indigenous Arts - Grade 9 Course Bundle

this bundle contains course work for the grade 9 Indigenous Arts & Culture (NAC1O) course. It can be used and adapted for other grades and its intent is to provide visual arts instruction through the lens of the experiences and worldviews of First Nations, Metis, and Inuit.

Includes 4 units:

1. Unit 1: Artistic Expression & FNMI Worldviews
2. Unit 2: Creating & Presenting
3. Unit 3: Foundations
4. Unit 4: Art & Society

Each unit plan comes with a number of lessons and includes a variety of activities like: lessons, slideshows, discussion questions, exit tickets, assignment instructions, rubrics, etc.

The final unit plan contains a culminating assignment and rubric.

Based on the NAC1O Ontario Curriculum and assessment pieces are also based on the four categories in the Ontario curriculum (Knowledge, Thinking, Communication, Application).
