What educators are saying
This emergent reader was perfect in helping my Pre-K ESE students learn "feelings" vocabulary. The book was easy to understand and my students found the pictures to be very engaging. Thanks for sharing!
I have used these for two years with social/emotional instruction and students with impulse control to help them to learn how to describe and identify their feelings
Description
This emergent reader little book will help young students practice early reading skills, while learning about feelings (emotions)!
This story uses a predictable pattern, "Look at me. I am ______" to support emerging readers. The following feelings/ emotions are included: happy, angry, sad, excited, shy, surprised, proud, confused, scared, embarrassed.
This book includes the same text on both the top and bottom of each sheet of paper to make copying, sorting, stapling, and cutting easy to create a class set of little books!!
In addition to the emergent reader little book, there are also pocket chart cards to illustrate the vocabulary words from the book.
