Musical Instrument - Bash the Trash

In this simple activity, students will create a homemade instrument using recycled materials. Then, students will form a group to perform a musical composition.

There are 10 pages that include an overview of the activity, a planning template, and questions for students to explain how their instruments make sound. Also included are rubrics and checklists to evaluate the created instrument, the students' answers, and their musical performance. Finally, there are some reference sheets on how the different types of instruments make sound.
