Students explore 1st and 2nd inversions of ii, iii, & vi chords along with various combinations of chord progressions, and using appropriate voicing techniques.

Previous knowledge I recommend students have before purchasing:

Students should have a general understanding of music theory if they are to dive into this curriculum. Students should have a good understanding of intervals, triads, major chords, and minor chords. Most importantly, be sure your students are 100% comfortable with reading all notes in Treble & Bass Clef notation. This curriculum assumes students have this previous knowledge, and it does not teach these concepts as it is assumed they know.

    Worksheets:

Each Lesson has a 1 or 2 page Worksheets to go along with. The Worksheets are Cognitively Demanding Tasks that are designed to Check for the Students Understanding. They are not the type of worksheets to print out, hand out, kill time, and throw in the trash.

Treble & Bass Clef Flash Cards:

Print this PDF File to create some Treble & Bass Clef Flash Cards! Have your students group up in partners to engage in practice, and so that you can check for student understanding.
