Description
Have your students choose between 3 different digital composition projects. The students can also choose to do their project using any Loop-Based Digital Audio Workstation (ie. Soundtrap, Soundation, GarageBand) or using a video editor that has built in sounds (ie. WeVideo or iMovie).
Projects include:
*1 Minute Sound Story: Retell the events of a well-known story using only a soundtrack and sound effects. Your classmates will have to guess what the story is just by listening.
*3 Ghosts: Create the soundscapes of 3 ghosts! You will compose 3 separate sections to a piece that share the personalities of these 3 ghosts.
*Describe a Famous Painting: Find a famous painting and describe what you see using only music and sound effects.
