**Music Taboue for Band, Orchestra, and Choir (It's like Taboo!)**
Inspired by the popular game "Taboo," Music Taboue combines music knowledge with a hilarious party game! Fast-paced and fun, this game can be played with a split class or any number of smaller teams and keeps musicians on the edge of their seats! Perfect for band, orchestra, and choir classes in both middle school and high school.
Game Details
4+ players
Ages: 12+
10+ minutes
Objective: Be the team with the most points by the end of the game!
Game Play:
- Team A chooses a player to read the clue card.
- Teammates are not allowed to see the cards and sit facing the player with the card.
- The teacher or a student sets a timer for 1 minute. The player reading the clue card takes a card but does not read it out loud. The word at the top of the card is the word the player is trying to get their teammates to say. The 5 words below the guess word are the words the player cannot say (in addition to the word at the top).
- Team A tries to guess as many cards as possible before the time is up. Once the time is up, count the cards the team guessed correctly. It is now Team B’s turn!
- The game is over once all the cards have been used. The team with the most points wins!
